Family & Consumer Science Projects

Building strong families, youth and communities is important for the success of the communities of Oneida County.

To address many of the critical issues relating to families, youth and communities, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cornell University provides research-based information in life-coping skills, and encourages families to use all available resources to improve their lives. The program offers workshops, short courses and demonstrations in areas such as: consumer education, clothing & textiles, arts & crafts,Gardening, food science, home environment, and nutrition, health & fitness.
