4-H plays an important role in the development of essential life and leadership skills.

The 4-H Leadership and Personal Development program helps young people become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society. 4-H enables America’s youth to emerge as leaders through hands-on learning, research-based 4-H youth programs and adult mentoring, in order to give back to their local communities. 4-H youth participate is such projects as: Public Presentation; Community Service and Citizenship. 4-H'ers in Oneida County and across the nation are responding to challenges every day in their communities and their world.
