Detecting Herd Lameness

  • Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Lameness issues exist at some level on local dairy farms. Continued efforts to identify early and manage lameness rates proactively can serve as a way to preserve tightening dairy margins. What might you be missing on your operation? Are you looking to reduce the incidence of lameness in your herd? Make plans to join guest speaker Neil Andrew on Wednesday October 25th from 7 to 9pm at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida Co. located at 121 Second St. in Oriskany, NY. Reservations are required by October 23rd and can be placed by calling 315-736-3394 ext. 132 or by email at mrm7@cornell.edu. There is no fee to attend.
