DESCRIPTION:2026 Fall All Day Training(Also known as the Fall Conference) October 3 2026 at the Burrstone Inn 1777 Burrstone Rd New Hartford NY  $75 Registration includes Breakfast &amp; Lunch (DEADLINE 9/25)  Schedule of Events 7:30-8 Registration and Breakfast  8-10 Learning Through Play – Bringing PreK Learning Standards into Child Care   Children learn throughout the entire day, not just during formal  lessons. Everyday routines, play, and interactions all provide  opportunities for learning and development. The NYS PreK Standards help  providers understand the skills and experiences children should develop  before entering school and support the growth of the whole child. This  training introduces all providers, including family and group child care  providers to the New York State Prekindergarten Learning Standards and  demonstrates how everyday activities support children&#39;s development and  school readiness.  10:15-11:15 Powering Up our Child Care Providers!  Learn strategies of how to handle energy consumption in your home and  what measures to prioritize. Do you know what public resources are  available to help with those measures? The energy team today will  provide you those!  This session, presented to you by CCE Oneida&#39;s  Energy Team, will feature hands-on activity to give education on energy  and take-home items.   11:15-12 Lunch Buffet  12-2:30 Supervision Expo Interactive Training! Featuring Trivia, Games and a Make &amp; Take Activity  Join us for an interactive educational training to reinforce Early  Childhood Educators with the critical safety protocols, state  regulations, and proactive supervision strategies on the programs of  young children.   Any trainings that meet the standards of QSNY will be indicated on the training certificates.    Note: Child Care Centers or programs looking to register multiple staff, please contact Courtney Jones at caj88@cornell.edu  In order to process scholarships such as EIP and VOICE CSEA, we are only  able to accept full-day registrations.  Additionally, requirements  including above organizations require us to no longer refer to this  event as a conference.
