New York State COVID-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program

A grant program administered by The New York Empire State Development (ESD). Grants amounts are from $5,000 - $50,000, depending on annual gross receipts from $25,0000 - $500,000 is one eligibility requirement. Additional eligibility requirements include.

• Must be in business on or before March 1^st, 2019
• Must show at least a 25% decrease in annual gross receipts due to COVID-19 pandemic
• Use of funds must be for 2020 operating expense

To apply for the grant, you will need the following documents:

• Application Certification, found on the website
• Government issued Photo ID
• 2019 Business Tax Return
• 2020 Business Tax Return
• Two (2) documents showing Proof of Business Location (Utility bill, current bank statement, insurance bill, etc.)
• If you have employees need to provide NYS-45 statements
• Document showing authorization to operate in NYS (DBA, Business License, etc.)
• Bank Verification (this is where the funds would be deposited on approval)
• If there are additional owners with 20% of more ownership of the business, documentation must be provided.
