Advocacy is an important piece of afterschool and summer program sustainability. All staff, from front-line to executive directors, should understand how they can begin advocating for increased investments and higher quality programs from their elected officials. Join the Network for Youth Success to learn how local, state, and federal policies impact program quality and availability, and how you can advocate for change with your legislators and through the media.

All participants of this training will leave with the knowledge of how to advocate for increased investments in afterschool, summer, and other expanded learning program funding to support high quality programming.
