Module 4 covers CDA topic area 4 Strategies to Establish Productive relationships with Families. The five classes focus on helping providers develop the communication skills and techniques to support building strong, reciprocal relationships with families, engaging and communicating with diverse families, supporting families as they engage in their children's learning and advocating for families. This module can support students who have previously taken CDA training but lack the hours in CDA content area 4. Completing all eight modules will result in completing 120 classroom hours in the eight CDA topic areas. Training outcomes will be measured through the use of multiple tools including but not limited to pre/post-tests, self-reporting on training evaluations, informal observation of classroom and group discussions and various homework activities.
