2020 Herb & Flower Fest is POSTPONED

The 24th annual Herb & Flower Festival was CANCELLED. HOWEVER

The 25TH Annual Herb & Flower Festival is coming June 2021 (Watch for the date) at the Oneida County Farm & Home Center located at 121 Second Street, Oriskany, NY. The Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners would like to thank all of you for understanding why we had to cancel and invite you to next year's event.

The Parker F. Scripture Botanical Gardens are a showcase of new gardening ideas from raised beds annuals, perennials, and herbs to the brick garden’s showcase of annuals and vegetable All- America Selections plants. Come and view the pollinator plantings and take a walk on the nature trail.

Our History

In 1996 as a way of introducing the public to the newly installed Herb Gardens at the Parker F. Scripture Botanical Gardens, a group of Master Gardener Herbal enthusiasts decided to hold a Festival. They advertised with flyers and word of mouth. 10 local vendors set up tents around the gardens. The day arrived and you came!

Today almost 20 years later the event draws a annual crowd of 1500 and features 40+ vendors selling garden related merchandise. The event is held at the end of June. Watch our website for the specific date, class list and Keynote speaker.
