Week of the Young Child Celebration for Child Care Providers

For the 50th Anniversary of the Week of the Young Child, the Child Care Council will be hosting special events to honor and celebrate the hard work of child care providers!  The week of the young child goes from April 10th - April 16th, and we have things planned for the whole week!

1) Facebook Live Giveaways!  Join our private Facebook page for child care providers to be entered in to nightly LIVE giveaways! We have lots of prizes to give out!  We'll also be doing lots of other fun things on this page throughout the week. Click here to join our page!

2) Don't have Facebook? Click here to be entered into separate drawings. You can only be entered into these if you aren't part of the Facebook group. This is for providers who don't have Facebook pages. Click here to be entered into these drawings.

3) Scholastic Book Fair!  Our virtual book fair will last for 2 weeks starting on April 10th. All orders can be placed online and ship directly to you!  Details can be found here. 

4) Supply Drive!  Closing out the week, we'll be hosting a supply drive on April 17th to give away some of the harder to get supplies that providers need. We have confirmed gloves, masks, disinfecting wipes and baby wipes to give away so far as well as some other prizes and goodies for all who sign up. This supply drive is ONLY for child care providers in Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties and you must have an open licensed/registered program that is currently caring for children. Sign up for the supply drive here.
