2021 Farm Fest-Free Virtual Event

For over 20 years Cornell Cooperative Extension Oneida County and the Oneida County Farm Bureau have hosted a Farm Fest Field Trip, to a local dairy farm for 4^th and 5^Th grade students. 

This year, we are doing things a bit differently.

In 2021 Farm Fest it will be a FREE virtual event for Kindergarten through 5^th graders featuring:

• Multiple short topic related videos pertaining to different aspects of farming
• Live Q&A Zoom with a local farmer
• Why Milk …? Poster Contest
• FREE Activities Bucket which includes:

Seed Starting

Make it with Wool Kit

Embryology Kit

Ice Cream Making Kit

Supplies are limited.

The Why Milk….? poster contest is sponsored by Oneida County Dairy Promotion. One poster from each grade will be chosen as a winner. The winning youth will win a Steve Spangler Science Activity Kit The winning teacher of the student will receive a $50 gift certificate for supplies from AG in the Classroom compliments of Oneida County Farm Bureau.
