This training explores the New York State Child Care Regulations. Participants will review New York State Office of Children and Family Services Child Day Care Regulations for the modality specific to their license or registration using a variety of discussion and hands on activities. Participants will discuss the importance and value of the regulations for maintaining a safe, healthy child care environment. Participants will explore how the New York State Office of Children Family Services regulations can guide them in the development of policies and procedures important to maintaining a quality, or clean, safe, developmentally appropriate and legal child care facility. Participants will discuss the value and importance of following all New York State Office of Children and Family Services regulations OCFS topic area 7 1.5 hrs
