This project includes a 2 hour training. The training will look at the definition of compassion and nurturing. Participants will develop ways to nurture themselves and see how this practice directly impacts the wellbeing of themselves and others. Participants will practice reframing situations to look for the positive and use understanding and benevolence to handle behavior management and guidance. Finally, the training will explore ways to model and use compassion to teach children coping skills, empathy and kindness. This training is followed up by 3 events/ITAs: Book discussion, trivia and Evaluation visit.
