Networking Training Dinner - Healthcare Plan
- Thursday, April 29, 2027, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
This training will cover information about the Health Care Plan for FDC/GFDC programs. We will discuss the purpose, management, and exclusion policies that are included in the Health Care Plan.
- Participants will define daily health checks and how to conduct them effectively
- Participants will list ways to reduce the risk of illness and injury in the program
- Participants will define teething and other symptoms of common mild illness in children
- Participants will describe ways to assure that all staff know what allergies that children have in the program
- Participants will describe the procedures, storage and use of emergency medications in the program
These are free training opportunities for FDC and GFDC providers, where you will be able to network and learn with peers at a dinner setting.

Family & Group Family Providers are invited to attend these free training opportunities! Networking dinners are a fun way to receive OCFS training credit while learning from your peers and having a dinner out. Each session will have a different topic and trainer to facilitate, and venues may change as well. ALL events will be held in Herkimer County but are open to all FDC and GFDC providers
