Peer-Led Wellness

The Peer-Led Wellness Activities program engages middle and high school youth in peer-led initiatives that address and promote nutrition and physical activity. These Peer-Led Activities aim to prevent obesity through positive social influences. Project examples include:Organizing healthy school food pantry, hosting a taste test, social marketing and media using youth-developed campaign themes and organizing physical activities. Our Nutrition Educators will work with your students to support and facilitate activities and can provide materials such as t-shirts, professional printing of flyers and posters, and other reinforcement items around the activity theme. To find out more use this link to see the brochure or contact us directly.
