Job Responsibilities:

• Engage children ages 1-5 in fun activities that foster intellectual and creative growth.
• Create a safe, enjoyable learning environment.
• Follow structured routines to balance exploration, learning, and rest.
• Build positive relationships with students and their families.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development.
• Ensure the health and safety of all students by adhering to OCFS standards.
• Assist with toileting, handwashing, meals, and classroom cleaning to meet health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with young children.
• Required certifications (can be obtained online).
• Must pass OCFS background checks (fingerprints required).
• Ability to connect with children and maintain a positive, patient attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $15-20/hourHours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week). Part-time and full-time options available.Benefits: To be determined.
